I am Elmer T. Albano,  a Filipino artist. Having gained a popular   canvas name " Mr. Pintados" through time,  so I have this signature in all my artwork. I was  born on February 3, 1974 in my hometown  in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. As early as 3, i have this remarkable fondness of drawing randomly on paper the whole time, my mom said. I first joined an art contest in grade 3 where we were 4  contestants  ( the other contestants were one each from grades 4, 5, and 6) wherein I was the 4th placer  since I was the youngest  and least experienced. But from then on starting from grade 4  to 4th year high school I almost always bagged first place in the art competitions I joined on different categories and every year I was consistently awarded "Artist of the Year".  Upon graduating from the University of the Philippines (A.B.Political Science)
I  entered some employment both locally and abroad, but eventually quitted them once and fir all  for arts.   My art career started in 2013 when I decided to  do painting full-time. I am a self-taught artist, gained and developed my skills from  observing nature and with the help of  you tube. Since 2013 I was vastly immersed in painting and have massive art  commissions from local folks and people abroad that kept me busy all the years. I led the  Nueva Vizcaya Arts Guild in my province where I guided local artists to run art exhibits. In 10 years time from  2013 to 2023, I have painted close to one thousand pieces, canvas and murals combined.  I envision to be a full-time artist down to my old age. I'm bound to consummate the infinite beauty of people and nature.
